FAQ

India e-Arrival card questions

Is the India e-Arrival card really free?

Yes. The Government of India provides the e-Arrival card free of charge and states on its portal that no agent or intermediary may charge a facilitation fee. It is separate from the e-Visa. The official site does not charge to submit it.

Why doesn’t VisaPass sell it?

Because you can complete it yourself in a few minutes at no cost, we don’t charge for it. VisaPass only helps with paid government eVisas and ETAs, where the government fee is separate and the paperwork is longer.

Is this a visa?

No. One arrival. Arrival information for foreign visitors and OCI cardholders. It is not a visa. Whether you also need a visa depends on your passport: use the checker.

How do I avoid paying for a free form?

Use only the official address (https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival/). If a website asks for a fee to submit this form, it is not the official site.

VisaPass is a private company and is not a government agency, embassy, or consulate. You may apply directly through the official government portal at no extra service fee. Official site: Government of India, Bureau of Immigration (e-Arrival, free).
